L’Oréal Paris: Looking for Women of Worth

Points of Light Institute is partnering with L’Oréal Paris for the fourth annual Women of Worth Awards, and we are seeking your input. L’Oréal Paris wants to recognize, celebrate and support women who are making a difference in their communities, and you are invited to nominate and help select the winners.

This year, 10 Women of Worth honorees will receive $5,000 for the charitable causes of their choice, and a matching donation will be made on their behalf to the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund. Additionally, one National Honoree will receive an additional $25,000 donation to her cherished nonprofit organization. The Women of Worth National Honoree will be chosen via a public online vote held this fall at www.womenofworth.com.

Know an incredible woman who is positively impacting her community? Act now! Nominations will only be open until July 13, 2009.

For more information and to nominate an outstanding woman who is making a beautiful difference, visit the L’Oréal Paris Women of Worth online community: www.womenofworth.com.
